Apple HomePod mini 2, Smarter Sound for Every Room

Apple HomePod mini 2 is a compact smart speaker with a seamless acoustic mesh fabric and a flat, backlit touch surface that lights up in color as you use it. It is available in White, Pink, Green, Blue and Midnight, so it blends into almost any room. It stands 3.3 inches (84.3 mm) high, 3.9 inches (97.9 mm) wide and weighs 0.74 pound (335 grams).

Rich 360º Sound

A full range driver and dual passive radiators produce deep bass and crisp highs, while a custom acoustic waveguide spreads sound in all directions. Computational audio tunes the sound in real time. Use two HomePod mini 2 speakers as a stereo pair, play music in several rooms with AirPlay multiroom audio, or connect four HomePod mini 2 speakers with Apple TV 4K for home theater surround sound.

Siri AI

Siri AI is a new version of Siri powered by Apple Intelligence that helps with everyday tasks like sending messages and setting reminders. You can activate it hands free by saying “Siri” or “Hey Siri”. Apple states that Siri AI will arrive later as a free software update. It requires an Apple Intelligence enabled iPhone or iPad running the latest software, and some features may not be available in all regions or languages.

A Hub for Your Smart Home

HomePod mini 2 supports Thread networking for HomeKit and Matter enabled Thread accessories, so it works as a home hub for your smart home. Its built in temperature and humidity sensor reports the conditions in your room, and Sound Recognition can notify you when it hears smoke or carbon monoxide alarms.

Fast, Modern Wireless

WiFi 6E, Bluetooth 6 and an Ultra Wideband chip give HomePod mini 2 fast connections and precise device proximity features with U1 equipped iPhones. Touch controls on top let you play, pause, skip and adjust volume without using your voice.
