Apple HomeView Wall Mounted, a Smart Display That Sits Flat on Your Wall

Apple HomeView (Wall Mounted) is built to be fixed to the wall in a kitchen, hallway or living room. The body is only 0.39 inch (0.98 cm) thick and weighs 0.63 pound (286 grams), with a perforated speaker grille at the base. It is available in Silver and Space Gray.

Same Display and Chip

It has the same 7 inch (diagonal) Liquid Retina display as the countertop model, with 1088 by 1088 pixels at 220 ppi, True Tone and 500 nits of brightness. The Apple A18 chip runs the interface and Siri AI, which Apple states is available in beta in HomeView software 27.2.

Calls, Intercom and Smart Home Control

The 12MP Center Stage camera supports FaceTime video calls over WiFi. HomeView shows your Home app controls, supports Thread accessories and includes Intercom, Messages, Music, Calendar, Reminders, Safari and Weather. A four microphone design keeps Siri responsive from across the room.

Sound

The wall mounted model has two custom full range drivers with Spatial Audio and Dolby Atmos support. It does not include the down firing woofer and passive radiators found on the countertop model.

Installation and Power

Wired power is required. The compatible wall mount, USB C cable and a power adapter of at least 20W are each sold separately. Apple notes that this model requires installation.
